Hermes Public Transport is a Dutch bus operator founded in 1995, with a focus on the Southeast region of the Netherlands. We are part of the Transdev family, who operate in 17 countries around the world and is the world’s biggest sustainable public transport supplier. Hermes is serving the Eindhoven region under the brand ‘ Bravo’ since 2016, with a contract that runs until 2026.

Many of our buses are Zero Emission, in which we continuously invest. In 2023 we are introducing 64 brand new buses, making our fleet the biggest Zero Emission fleet in Europe. Driving fully electric is not only great for the environment, it’s extremely comfortable as well.

Our buses are a means of transport for anyone wanting to go from one place to another. Whether its to get to the office, university, hospital or city centre; we’ll happily bring you. We continuously invest in lowering the threshold for travelling with us; with many options to pay for your trip and many options to reduce the cost profiting from our offerings.

Since 2022 our buses accept payment by card; credit, debit or prepaid PT bus pass (commonly known as the OV-chipcard). Travelling outside of the peak hours comes at a greatly reduced price, lowering the total cost by almost 50%. We furthermore invest in innovations that benefit our passengers; we are currently piloting the project Be-in-Be-out where you can just walk in and out of our buses. By connecting your smartphone to our bus, you automatically check in and out at the appropriate bus stop; how convenient is that! Available on our bus lines 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407 and 408.
