We aim to help and support families during one of the most stressful and overwhelming times in their lives. Moving house to live in a country where people speak another language and everything is different to your current life, WITH a family, is a hugely daunting prospect.  Bridge the Gap hopes to help you make that step a little bit easier with our bespoke bundles of online sessions to support you along the way.

●      Educational Consulting

Are you at a loss to understand what educational possibilities there are available to your family once you move?  Do you need help making the best choice for children?  Contact us to book a 30-45 minute video consultation to discuss what you need from a school, what options you have, what the benefits and disadvantages are and to make a plan on how to move forwards.

●      Relocation Coaching

Are you worried about how your child will settle into their new school life? Have you thought about how you will say goodbye to friends and family? Are you concerned how your family will deal with culture shock?  With tried and tested coaching methods, this package provides advice and support for you and your family during your relocation.  Together, we will prepare for each stage of the transition process through thoughtful questions, games and activities.

●      English Language Lessons

Pre-departure English Lessons

Would you like to be able to greet your new colleagues with confidence? Would you like your child to be able to introduce themselves to new friends at school or find out where the toilet is?  Would some classroom language be useful for your child?  With this package you can learn essential beginner's language to help you survive the first few days in your new English speaking environment, before you even leave your home country.  Suitable for the whole family, or just the children.

Continued Language Support Upon Arrival

Upon arrival in your host country, continue learning English from your new home.  With a range of different materials for all levels, your language needs are covered.  Lessons are designed around your requirements and with your ability in mind.  Learn the language to use when you go to the supermarket, make an appointment, sign in at the doctors and much more. Sessions could be for your whole family to participate in, or just for your children. You decide.

●      Curriculum Support

Are you concerned how your child will adapt to new subject content during lessons at their new school? This package offers support for children to fill any gaps in their education caused by differences in curriculum, teaching methods and educational styles, as a result of relocation.  With your permission, we will contact the teacher to find out more about your child’s specific requirements. We will then help your child to understand the different methods being used, different terminology that is used and support them in their school transition.
